Dieci Dealer Sales Training - A Great Success!

As part of our ongoing dealer support program, Dieci Australia held a sales training conference on 15th and 16th March 2010 at the Hume Resort on the Murray River in Albury for our Victorian and Southern NSW dealers.

The course was a combination of in room presentations coupled with practical demonstrations and real life driving conditions. This type of training provides great benefits over class room style training alone.

The venue provided ample free space to carry out operator training and allowed the attendees to drive the machines that were used for training. The machines used for training were the Apollo 25.6, Dedalus 28.7 Poultry Pro, the Agrimaster 30.7 and the Haymaster 40.7. The steep slopes enabled all participants to experiment first hand the value of the hydrostatic transmission when stopping on a hill or embankment.

Holding the training conference at the venue also provided the opportunity to be "Out of the Office" so participants could focus on the subject matter and gave opportunity for more informal discussions with Dieci staff.

Other topics discussed were our finance options, Australian standards and safety systems.

The information they gathered from the training has given them an advanced understanding of the Dieci product and can now pass this information on to their customers to help them make a more informed choice of telehandler.

Following the success of this program format, we are planning to hold further training conferences for our dealers in the other states of Australia.

Thiess and John Holland - Brisbane Airport Link

The Airport Link is a tunnelled motorway grade road which is under construction in the northern suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland. It will connect the Brisbane Central Business District and the Clem Jones Tunnel to the East-West Arterial Road which leads to the Brisbane Airport. It is being built in conjunction with the Windsor to Kedron section of the Northern Busway in approximately the same corridor.

The estimated construction cost of the Airport Link tunnel is reported to be over $3.4 billion, and is set for completion in June 2012.

Thiess and John Holland have chosen Dieci Australia to supply 4 x Icarus 40.17 EWP Dieci Telehandlers for their Brisbane Airport Link Project.

The Icarus 40.17 EWP model has a maximum capacity 4,000kg with a light height of 16.9 metres. With a maximum lift of 4 tonne and a big reach, this model is designed to pack a big punch, making it ideal for large constuction projects such as this.

Dieci Piggery Pro

Proving that Dieci Telehandlers are diverse and sutiable for many applications, we have released a specialised machine for piggery farmers called the Piggery Pro.

After listening to our customers, we recognised that pig farmers face similar issues to poultry farmers and that many of the customised features of the Poultry Pro suited the pig farming industry.

With our experience in building industry specific machines, we have customised our Poultry Pro to best suit our pig farmers and the harsh environment they work in, giving them better reliability, better investment and greater resale value. This is just another example of Dieci meeting the markets needs.

Glen Wright is a valued customer of Dieci Australia and owns a Piggery in Donald, Victoria. After receiving excellent service with his first Piggery Pro, Glen's choice of telehandler remains with Dieci and has recently traded in his last machine for a new Piggery Pro. We look forward to servicing Glen with his latest purchase, and those to come in the future.

Continuing Success In Dry Hire Industry

Dieci Telehandlers have long been popular within the Equipment Hire Industry. Recent sales to 2 of our largest customers has shown that even in tough economic times, Dieci Telehandlers are a valuable and affordable asset to any type of construction project.

Camden Hire has been a loyal customer of Dieci Australia since 2005. Mike Scarce founded Camden Hire in 1984. The Company has grown with great success, just recently opening a second branch in Liverpool. In 2006, Camden Hire proved they could compete with the big guys, winning the Hire and Rental Industry Association (HRIA) Rental Company of the Year Award - over $3 Million. This is a national award, and seen them up against some huge competition

A recent purchase of the popular construction model, Apollo 25.6NA, has increased their Dieci fleet to 7

Another one of our successful hire companies  is Cranebiz. Since discovering Dieci Telehandlers in 2006, Neil Wallace, the owner of Cranebiz, has seen the value of providing Dieci Telehandlers as part of his fleet. He has recently purchased an Apollo 25.6NA, making that his 6th Dieci purchase in 3 years.
